Frequently Asked Questions

1 / Is a consultation required?

Yes, you do have to book an appointment if you are sure about doing semi permanent makeup. To do this, go to the 'Contact Us' page of this website and you will be able to get in touch with us.

2 / Are my eyebrow hairs removed?

No, we enhance what you already have. Odd hairs that are not in shape of the final treatment will be tidied and shaped to achieve a groomed brow.

3 / Will the procedure affect my hair growth?

This procedure does not affect the present hair follicles. The hair will grow as normal and you will still require the normal maintenance eg. waxing, threading to keep the shape groomed.

4 / What is the difference between Digital Machine and Microblading?

Microblading is performed with a grouping or configuration of needles affixed to a handle to manually create lines that resemble real hair (traditional form of tattooing). Micropigmentation is performed with a pen style hand piece device powered by a machine and holds a cartridge needle which also has a configuration of needles. Both methods achieve the same results, the result is down to the eye and skill of the technician and also their knowledge and experience rather than the method used.

5 / Will my eyebrows be dark?

Colours are used to match your natural skin and hair tone. We would never use any black pigment in any complexion as an eyebrow colour, no matter how dark your skin is. It reflects navy tones in certain lights. However we can achieve a dark eyebrow using alternative colours if that is what you want and will be suited to you.

6 / How would I know which colour suits me?

We will work with you, discussing your preferences and suggestions to help create your perfect look.We custom design your permanent makeup to colours that will suit you best, virtually any colour can be mixed to compliment your natural skin tones.

7 / Is it painful?

This is a question we cannot answer accurately, as each individual has a different pain threshold. You are pre-numbed for approx. 30 mins before your procedure and we use anaesthetics throughout the procedure if required. So pain is as minimal as possible.

8 / How long will it last?

This varies with each individual's skin type, colour of pigment chosen, sunbed use and medical conditions but it will all contribute to fading over time, through the expectation of between 6 months and 5 years.

9 / Is there a chance of an infection?

Safety is our priority. At all times we adhere to the strictest sterilisation procedures. Only new, sterile, disposable needles, which are opened in front of each client, are used for your complete safety. Everything is cleaned and sterilised between clients, the room i.e. the bed, lamp, trolley and everything that has been touched by a gloved hand. We have been tightly trained to exacting hygiene standards.

10 / How long does it take to heal?

Surface healing is 7-10 days however it takes a minimum of 28 days to see the final result of your enhancement, however can take up to 2 months depending on age. The older you are, the longer the healing process between treatments.

11 / What is the healing period like?

Healing is moderate to minimum discomfort and inconvenience. It is different for every individual, it is skin type dependent e.g. if you have oily skin, you will heal differently to an individual with dry skin. You can expect slight flaky skin, itchiness, fading and patchiness (after the first session) this is all completely normal! The pigment can fade and re-surface again once it has settled in the skin (usually 4 weeks). We also give you a skin regenerating cream to use at home.

12 / How soon can I go out?

Immediately! The colour may appear a little darker than usual for the first few days. The crusting is only slightly visible, but usually never really noticeable. Make up can be used around the area, but not directly over it.
